GLASSFOREVER Education Roadshow

The first GLASSFOREVER Education Roadshow was launched in June 2002, and from August 2003 a second Roadshow has been available for use specifically in Scottish schools.

The Roadshow is a mobile, interactive and fun exhibition for pupils aged 7 – 11. It replicates the process of glass recycling used at the Knottingley factory.

Your pupils can have hands-on experience of the way the glass is sorted ready for recycling, and take part in a variety of multi-media presentations.

A qualified teacher leads each session, and a resource pack is available to allow you to maximize the value of the free visit from the Roadshow and integrate the GLASSFOREVER programme into the National Curriculum in England and Wales and the 5 – 14 Curriculum in Scotland.
