Construction Material Recycling

The advantages of recycling are obvious. The human population is growing, and much of our waste goes into landfill today. Not only is the solution unsustainable, but it also harms the environment by contaminating the groundwater and in numerous other ways.

Construction materials can and should be recycled. Not only is this a sound policy from the environmental point of view, but can also help make significant savings. Gypsum recycling and other construction waste recycling is not just responsible but also a more economical option.

There are a number of recycling companies that offer competitive rates and accept all kinds of construction waste, from rubble and old construction waste, to new build waste. Gypsum walls, gypsum boards, ceilings etc can be recycled and reused.

Resources are not infinite, so recycling them makes all the more sense in order to avoid resource shortages in the future. The ministry of environment wants to encourage construction companies to recycle as much of their construction waste as possible.

While it is necessary to process construction waste and separate gypsum based products from other waste so it can be recycled, many recycling companies are able to accept waste with impurities like nails etc.
